Daniel J. Bendig, IHS Consulting Director is an expert in international exploration and project management. Mr. Bendig has worked extensively in asset appraisals, bid round evaluations, unconventionals and portfolio evaluations.
Prior to joining IHS, Mr. Bendig held the posts of vice president of exploration, chief geophysicist of a major oil company in the North Sea, and senior geophysicist with a number of companies, including CONOCO, Inc. Total experience exceeds 39 years. He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, the Society of Independent Professional Earth Scientists, the Houston Geological Society, and the Houston Geophysical Society.
Mr. Bendig holds a BS from The Ohio State University (Physics), a MA from the State University of New York (Geology), and an MSc from the University of London (Stratigraphy).
